You will build a practical, mutual-fit standard for deciding whether a relevant opportunity has the conditions required for strong work.

You will identify the conditions behind your strongest engagements, distinguish caution signals from automatic dealbreakers, define useful non-negotiables, and prepare the questions that surface important information before commitment.

You will also create language for four possible decisions:

Proceed
Clarify
Redirect
Decline

Because every inquiry does not need to be forced into yes or no.

What changes

By the end, you will be able to evaluate more than whether someone appears to be your “ideal client.”

You will know whether:

The problem belongs inside your territory.
The client is ready to decide and participate.
The work can remain inside a responsible scope.
The correct people have authority.
Expectations reflect what the engagement can honestly deliver.
The working relationship can support the method.
The opportunity makes sense for the business accepting it.

The standard will not make every decision easy.
